The County Attorney’s Office is comprised of three (3) divisions, each supervised by a division head who reports directly to the County Attorney. The Criminal Division is supervised by a Chief Deputy Attorney and is responsible for the prosecution of criminal cases. The division has twenty (20) attorneys, three (3) paralegals, one (1) investigator and twenty-eight (28) support staff members.
The Civil Division is supervised by a Chief Deputy Attorney and is responsible for handling civil law matters on behalf of Yuma County. The division has four (4) attorneys, four (4) support staff members and one (1) paralegal.
The Victim Services Division is supervised by a Director and is responsible for providing advocacy services, mandated victims’ rights notification and compensation assistance to crime victims. In addition to the Director, the division has four (4) victim advocates, one (1) compensation program coordinator and five (5) support staff members.
